Tibetan Terrier

The Tibetan Terrier originates from the high regions of Tibet and, despite its name, does not belong to the Terrier group. Valued as both a herding and temple dog, he guarded herds as well as monasteries. Known in his homeland as “Tibet Apso,” he is still regarded today as a loyal, well-balanced companion with a fine sensitivity for his people.
In character, the Tibetan Terrier is attentive, playful, and adaptable. His people-oriented nature makes him an ideal family dog who gets along well with children. With a shoulder height of around 35–45 cm, he is versatile – whether in everyday life, on hikes, or when traveling.
For restful breaks, an orthopaedic dog bed with washable mattress is recommended. It combines stability and lying comfort and is suitable for both home and holiday use.
As a flexible alternative, an orthopaedic dog cushion offers versatile use – from the living room to the camper. Durable, non-slip, and easy-care, it remains hygienically clean even with frequent use.
For on the go, the travel blanket is ideal: lightweight, rollable, and equipped with a snap closure, it protects against cold and dirt – perfect for excursions, café visits, or holidays. Washable at 95 °C.
In the car, the dog car seat cover ensures safety and cleanliness. With all-side coverage, bumper guard, and noise-dampening thermal padding, it reliably protects back seat and boot. The car seat cover is fully washable at 95 °C, odor-free, and ideal for both short trips and long holiday journeys.
The Tibetan Terrier loves companionship and activity – with the right equipment he feels comfortable everywhere. Orthopaedic beds, durable cushions, and practical blankets from Doctor Bark provide comfort, durability, and maximum hygiene – whether at home or on the go.
