Staffordshire Bull Terrier

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier originates from industrial central England and was originally bred as the so-called “Bull-and-Terrier.” Among the working class, he was considered a status symbol – strong, watchful, and loyal to his family. The breed was officially recognized by the Kennel Club in 1935. Since the ban on animal fighting, breeding has focused on creating a balanced, child-friendly family dog. According to the FCI standard, the Staffie is described as “brave, fearless, highly intelligent, and particularly friendly with children.” His training should be consistent, but always loving and structured.
For strong, compact breeds like the Staffie, a stable orthopaedic dog bed with removable mattress is ideal. It provides pressure-relieving comfort for joints and muscles, is robustly made, and fully washable at 95 °C – suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Alternatively, a durable orthopaedic dog cushion offers flexible placement, with a waterproof cover made of either cotton or fleece.
A high-quality dog blanket complements the resting area: with insulating thermal padding, it protects against ground cold and provides cozy comfort. Thanks to robust materials, it is also suitable for outdoor use and can be fully washed at 95 °C.
For safe car rides with the dog, a dog car seat cover reliably protects the back seat or boot. With noise-dampening thermal padding, all-side coverage, and a non-slip surface, the interior stays clean and the dog safe. The car seat cover is universally usable, fully washable at 95 °C, and therefore particularly hygienic – ideal for both short trips and long journeys.
The Staffordshire Bull Terrier combines strength, sensitivity, and loyalty – the right equipment supports his recovery and enhances well-being. Doctor Bark products provide the perfect combination of function, design, and hygiene – durable, easy-care, and developed for the highest standards.
