Scottish Terrier

The Scottish Terrier, formerly also known as the Aberdeen Terrier, is a classic among British breeds. Officially recognized since 1897, he originates from Scotland and was originally bred as an earthdog for hunting. Weighing up to 10 kg and standing no more than 28 cm at the shoulder, the Scottie is compact, robust, and full of character. In Germany he is very popular – not least because of his independent nature. With a strong hunting instinct, courage, and intelligence, he requires consistent yet loving training. Pressure has little effect, but motivation and bonding lead to the best results.
As a retreat, a dog bed from Doctor Bark is suitable – either ergonomically soft (GreenLabel, washable at 60 °C) or orthopaedically supportive (RedLabel, washable at 95 °C). For more flexibility, you can choose a dog cushion or the orthopaedic lounge cushion with an optional waterproof cover and either a cozy fleece or durable cotton lying surface.
For on the go, the portable dog blanket ensures comfort: rollable, easy to store, and machine washable – ideal as a travel or training blanket. The Scottie is also well protected in the car: the car seat cover with all-side protection, footwell guard, and noise-dampening thermal padding protects the vehicle – hygienic, functional & odor-free.
Doctor Bark offers compact solutions for small, independent breeds like the Scottish Terrier: washable dog beds, ergonomic cushions, flexible travel and car blankets – durable, well designed & washable up to 95 °C for maximum hygiene.
