Rottweiler

The Rottweiler originates from southern Germany, particularly around the town of Rottweil. Originally used as a drover and guard dog for cattle herds, he developed into a versatile working dog. Since 1910 he has been officially recognized as a working dog and is valued worldwide in police, military, and rescue services.
He represents strength, stamina, and deep loyalty to his family. Confident, intelligent, and reliable, the Rottweiler needs consistent, calm leadership and sufficient activity. Well socialized, he shows a balanced nature – even when interacting with children.
For large, strong breeds like the Rottweiler, an orthopaedic dog bed with removable mattress is recommended. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, fully washable at 95 °C, and provides joint-friendly lying comfort. Alternatively, an orthopaedic dog mattress with a waterproof fleece cover ensures maximum hygiene and flexibility.
In addition, a dog blanket is suitable as protection for sofa, floor, or on the go – dimensionally stable, durable, and machine washable at 95 °C. For safe transport, the car boot protector provides all-side padding, noise-dampening thermal insulation, and an integrated bumper guard – also fully washable at 95 °C.
For powerful, demanding dogs like the Rottweiler, Doctor Bark delivers well-thought-out solutions: orthopaedic beds and mattresses, functional blankets, and robust car accessories – all durable, hygienic, and perfectly tailored to the needs of large breeds.
