Magyar Vizsla

The Magyar Vizsla – also known as the Hungarian Pointer – is a noble hunting breed with roots dating back to the 14th century. Official breeding began in the 1920s, and in 1936 the FCI recognized the breed. Its elegant appearance, eagerness to learn, and sensitive character make it a popular companion for active families.
Vizslas are known for being easy to handle, eager to retrieve, and highly people-oriented. They need both mental and physical stimulation, but with enough attention they also adapt well to apartment living. For active owners, the Vizsla is a loyal, gentle, and very empathetic partner in everyday life.
After long walks or training sessions, a comfortable rest area is essential. Dog beds from Doctor Bark are available as Green Label versions with soft filling (washable at 60 °C) or as Red Label models with orthopaedic mattress (washable at 95 °C) – perfect for muscle recovery and everyday hygiene.
As a versatile alternative, a dog cushion offers flexible use in a basket, living room, or on trips. Covers are washable at 60 °C or 95 °C depending on the version, with fleece or water-repellent surfaces available.
For indoor use, a washable dog blanket provides extra comfort. Whether as a sofa protector, floor mat, or travel blanket – it shields surfaces and offers warmth thanks to thermo padding.
Perfect for outings and hunting trips: a boot cover for dogs protects the entire cargo area from moisture, dirt, and hair. The noise-dampening thermo padding and non-slip surface ensure safety and comfort – fully washable at 95 °C and odour-free.
