Large Münsterländer
The Large Münsterländer originates from the Münsterland region and southern Lower Saxony. Recognized as a distinct breed in 1919, it is valued as a versatile long-haired pointing dog with a characteristic black and white coat and a strong hunting instinct.
Originally bred as a herding and hunting dog, today it stands out as an intelligent, eager-to-learn, and loyal companion. The Large Münsterländer is family-friendly, alert, and hardworking – ideal for active owners with sufficient time and space.
After active work, an orthopaedic lounge cushion ensures optimal recovery. Available with waterproof or fleece covers, it relieves joints, provides high comfort, and is fully washable at 95 °C.
