Dobermann

The Dobermann is the only German dog breed named after its breeder: Friedrich Louis Dobermann. In the 19th century, he began developing a versatile working dog – intelligent, vigilant and protective. Known as “gendarme dogs,” Dobermanns quickly earned a reputation with police and the military.
Despite their imposing appearance, they are considered loyal, sensitive and very people-oriented – with proper guidance, they make excellent family dogs. They need plenty of daily exercise, mental stimulation and a structured routine. Their elegance and temperament make them true character dogs.
For a Dobermann to fully recover after training or walks, he needs an ergonomically designed resting place. The orthopaedic dog beds from Doctor Bark provide optimal pressure relief for joints and spine – stable, non-slip and fully washable. Additionally, an orthopaedic dog cushion is recommended as a mobile alternative at home or when traveling.
Practical for travel, as sofa protection or as an outdoor mat are the dog blankets from Doctor Bark. Whether as a training mat, sofa cover or compact travel pad – they provide hygienic resting areas wherever the Dobermann is active.
For trips to training, the vet or vacation, the durable dog car blanket from Doctor Bark is recommended. It reliably protects the back seat or boot and offers a safe, non-slip lying surface during the ride.
All Red Label products – including beds, cushions & blankets – are fully washable at 95 °C, dryer-safe and hypoallergenic. Combined with Doctor Bark’s biodegradable detergent, the textiles remain hygienic and shape-retaining – even under heavy use by active dogs like the Dobermann.
