Bobtail
Few people know that the Bobtail belongs to the Old English Sheepdog breed. Originally used as a livestock guardian, it still watches over house, yard, and family today – always attentive and reliable. Despite its imposing appearance, the Bobtail is affectionate, very child-friendly, and a dependable family dog with a calm yet assertive nature.
This breed is lively and loves long walks. At the same time, the Bobtail needs consistent, loving training – as well as regular coat care, since its abundant fur tends to mat. Especially in wet weather, a protected, dry resting place is recommended to prevent skin irritation. Indoors, its resting area should be soft, clean, and spacious.
For active, large dogs like the Bobtail, Doctor Bark offers spacious dog cushions in XL size, combining stability with high comfort.
