Product description

Lounge Cushion GreenLabel
Comfort & appealing design for modern interiors

The appealing look of the Doctor Bark lounge cushion harmonizes perfectly with modern interiors. The clean lines of this dog cushion, the durable and easy-care fabric with its soft lying surface invite relaxed resting and recovery. The subtle color combination and high-quality craftsmanship show that good design is created through attention to detail.

The design of this GreenLabel dog cushion allows a slight hollow to form in the center, thus supporting the natural nesting behavior. This and the soft lying surface let your dog dream, rest, and sleep in comfort.

Daily care tip: Shake out the cushion lightly each day so that the filling material is evenly redistributed. This preserves the modern look.

We use exclusively fabrics whose cotton content is certified according to GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). This is our contribution to protecting our shared environment. Our unique material composition M7-T guarantees easy washing at 60°C. This gives you the assurance of a consistently clean lying surface. Enjoy purity to the fullest.

Outer fabric:

Cotton blend fabric
Long-staple cotton
UV-stable, 300 g/sqm surface weight
Dry-Fit-Comfort
Fabrics made in the EU
Free from harmful substances according to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 (Test No. 08-6223 Shirley)

Filling:

Patented filling
Dry-Fit-Comfort, breathable
Back-to-shape function

For the production of all our items, we exclusively use twill fabric with a 3/1 weave. This type of weave is exceptionally dense, robust, and durable.

Before cutting, the fabric is pressed at 3 bar pressure and over 100°C. This makes it even smoother and allows moisture to bead off more easily. Dirt and dog hair can be shaken off more effortlessly.

For cutting, the fabrics are spread out and checked once again for defects. The subsequent cutting is done by hand. With machine cutting, fabric shifting and inaccuracies are unavoidable, whereas hand cutting eliminates these errors.

Since the seams are exposed to high stress, we use the elaborate but stable quilted stitching method to connect the various components.

Finally, all products are inspected by hand with great care, ensuring that our customers receive a perfect product.

WASHING and CARE

Daily care:

Shake the cushion lightly every day so that the filling is evenly redistributed again. This maintains the modern look.

Preparation:

Before washing, shake off coarse dirt and dog hair from the lounge cushion. This helps protect your washing machine. We recommend pre-treating heavy stains with gall soap or a stain spray. You can also apply a few drops of Doctor Bark detergent to the affected areas and gently massage it in with your finger.

Washing:

If you use Doctor Bark Textile Wash & Care Detergent, please add 50 ml of detergent to the detergent compartment. If you use a conventional mild detergent, please follow the manufacturer’s dosing instructions. Make sure that your detergent does not contain fabric softener or silicone removers. To ensure that the filling of the Doctor Bark lounge cushion regains its full volume after washing, please use washing balls or regular tennis balls. This works wonders. Select the basic setting “gentle cycle” with a maximum spin speed of 800 rpm.

Drying:

Shake your Doctor Bark dog sleeping surface lightly, as you would with a down duvet. Then place the dog sleeping surface together with the washing or tennis balls in the tumble dryer. Select the “gentle drying” setting and only partially dry the dog bed in the dryer.

Then allow the lounge cushion to air dry completely. Without a tumble dryer, your Doctor Bark dog sleeping surface will of course also dry naturally. Choose a warm and well-ventilated place for air drying so that the dog sleeping surface is dry again within 3–4 hours. Shake the dog sleeping surface well several times during air drying and gently pull it back into shape.
