Fox Terrier
The Fox Terrier is one of the oldest recognized terrier breeds from Great Britain and is bred in two varieties today: the Smooth Fox Terrier and the Wire Fox Terrier. Both are fearless, enduring hunting dogs – originally bred for hunting foxes, badgers, and even wild boar.
Today, the Fox Terrier is also popular as a companion dog – provided he gets enough exercise, consistent training, and tasks that suit his nature. With a back length of around 38–45 cm and a weight of up to 9.5 kg, he belongs to the small but extremely agile breeds.
