We only use fabrics that have a cotton content certified according to GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). This is how we contribute to the protection of our environment.
Our unique M7-T material composition guarantees that you can wash it at 95°C without any complications. This gives you the security of a clean sleeping surface time and time again. Enjoy the cleanliness to the full.
Outer fabric:
- fleece polyester fabric
- made of 30% recycled polyester
- UV constant
- dry-fit comfort
- fabric manufactured in the EU
- free of harmful substances according to Ökotex 100 (test no. 08-6223 Shirley)
We exclusively use 3/1 weave twill fabric for the production of all our articles. This weave is extremely dense, robust and durable. The fabric is ironed under 3 bar of pressure at over 100°C before it is cut to size. This gives it an even smoother finish and makes it easier for moisture to roll off. Dirt and dog fur can also be shaken off more easily.
The fabrics are panelled for cutting and once again checked for faults. The fabric is then cut by hand. With a machine cut, the fabric shifts and inaccuracies are unavoidable; these errors are eliminated by hand cutting. Because the seams are subjected to considerable strain, we use elaborate but sturdy backstitching to join the various pieces together.
Finally, all products are manually inspected with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring that our customers are provided with a perfect product.
Care Instructions – Doctor Bark Fleece Cuddle Blanket
To ensure your Doctor Bark fleece blanket stays soft for a long time and maintains its premium quality, please follow these care instructions:
Before washing
- Remove loose dog hair and lint from both sides of the blanket using a sticky lint roller.
Washing
- Wash the fleece blanket separately or together with similar, soft textiles (for example, other fleece items).
- Avoid coarse fabrics such as jeans or towels, as these can roughen the soft fleece surface and promote pilling.
- To prevent discoloration, it is best to wash the blanket on its own. Similar, colored textiles are usually unproblematic.
- Use a delicate or gentle wash cycle with a mild detergent and a maximum spin speed of 600 rpm.
Drying and further care
- If possible, do not put the fleece blanket in the dryer after washing, as this can cause new lint to settle on the blanket.
- Let the fleece blanket air-dry. Fleece dries quickly and remains especially soft this way.
- If you wish to use a dryer, select a low temperature or the gentle cycle.
- Do not iron fleece and do not dry-clean it in order to protect the material, comfort, and durability over the long term.
